I purchased ETENDA 2PACK 200W Solar Flood Light about a year ago to light up the two horse stalls in a little barn I put up. Running underground conduit and wiring looked like an expensive and lengthy project and I needed light like now! I found the lights reasonably bright, not quite as bright as a 200 watt halogen but pretty good. So I have one in each stall and because the building is sheet metal I made a little mast out of tubing and a threaded rod attached to a bracket so I didn't have to drill holes in the roof. The lights provide adequate light and are very satisfactory over all. I live outside of Dallas so we get lots of sunlight to keep them charged but we also have viscous wind, thunderstorms and temperature extremes. They have been reliable through our ten straight days of sub freezing weather last winter and hundred plus temps in the summer. The one problem I did have was with the bolts with wing nuts holding the panels to the bracket which quickly loosened when the wind got going. Had to go up and tighten them but they quickly loosened up.A couple of weeks ago the wind somehow unthreaded one wing nut totally and the bolt fell out and the the other ripped a hole through the wall of the aluminum frame but was still attached to the bracket and I found the panel hanging down dangling by the cord. I figured it was lemon-aid out of lemons time so I went to the big box hardware store and bought a piece of 1/2" square tubing and a 1/4" threaded rod. I cut the rod a smidge smaller than the interior of the frame(had to smush the ends with a sledge a bit to make them fit under the frame lip) I cut the threaded rod at one end, larger than the panel by four inches. I put a wing nut backward and threaded it to the far end and then a 1 /4" wide steel fender washer with a 1/4" hole slightly enlarged with a drill. (the cut end usually is hard to thread from) Then passed the rod through the frame and tubing to the other side and placed the other fender washer and wingnut. Instead of the the wind playing make-a-wish with the bracket it is compressed on the tubing from each side. Stays rock solid.I am going to modify my other panel which has been lucky so far with the left over tubing and rod also. Now other than that I liked this product enough to buy another pair and have installed this on my hay shed which also has no power, but screwed the brackets to a wooden mounting structure which is very rigid. We have had this for over two years and it’s still going strong. Easy to install and bright light.I just installed a new shed and instead of running electric just to have a light inside, I installed this solar powered light. Very pleased with the brightness and it charges up fast. Picture shown inside the shed is during charge mode. The white LEDs are not on, but can be turned on while charging if there's enough power. 70 watts is plenty bright for an 8 x 15 shed. I'd definitely recommend this product.Great productBought this light for our chicken coop... It works perfect for that... We have a large coop. Battery holds up great and the photocell is not over sensitive... Easy to set up and tough construction... Really like the “state of charge” leds. Very happy with this product.it seems to work well so farGreat little unit, but I do wish it had a motion sensor option. Nice solar panel & time "on" . Bright adjustable lighting.Worked fine for about 20 days, then the batteries stopped retaining the electricity. Total piece of garbage. After a couple of months since it stopped working I decided to open the bloody thing to see if I can replace the batteries. It doesn't seem doable, though. I attach some pictures. If someone knows how to replace them please tell me what batteries to get as the ones included don't have any specs on them. You can give me advice by replying the question I posted about what kind of batteries does this thing use, I will deeply appreciate your advice.
